Aufgaben
- Development and implementation of growth strategies to tap into new industries, applications and sales markets (Strategic business development).
- Identification, analysis and evaluation of new markets (Market and trend analysis).
- Identifying potential customers and developing individual market entry and sales strategies (New customer acquisition).
- Long-term and trust-based development of relationships with decision-makers and further development of existing customer networks (Building and maintaining business relationships).
- Exchange and coordination of goals and measures with the globally involved employees and foreign subsidiaries (Stakeholder management).
- Creation of business plans, sales forecasts and competitive analyses to support management decision-making (Reporting).
Hard skills
- Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification; alternatively basic commercial training and further education (e.g. business administrator).
- Several years of professional experience in business development, product management or sales in a B2B environment, ideally in the fittings, building technology or industrial supply industry.
- Enthusiasm for sales deals and business development.
- Technical understanding and ability to position complex products and solutions in a customer-oriented manner.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
- Independent, structured and conscientious working style.
- High level of commitment, teamwork and flexibility.
- Willingness to travel internationally (30%).
