Aufgaben
- Design and development of high-performance electronic circuits for detector control and signal readout
- Architecture, implementation and optimization of FPGA firmware using VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog
- FPGA design entry, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis and debugging in modern development environments
- Hardware-related firmware validation and system-level integration
- Development, simulation, PCB layout and technical documentation of analog and digital circuits
- Assembly, testing and commissioning of newly developed modules in the laboratory
- Supporting the product from the development phase through prototyping to series production
Hard skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or comparable qualification
- Strong hands-on experience in FPGA development and digital design
- Solid expertise in analog and digital circuit design as well as PCB layout
- Experience with professional development tools for schematic capture, SPICE simulation and hardware verification
- Structured and solution-oriented working style with high degree of personal initiative
- Team spirit combined with the ability to work independently
- Professional communication skills in English and German
- Nice to have: practical experience in C/C++ including microcontroller programming
