Aufgaben
- Lead development efforts for AUGENTIC software platform "Qomitto"; balance strategic leadership with technical oversight
- Manage a team of ~20 developers; spend ~70% on team, development, testing and release management and ~30% on coding and technical troubleshooting
- Design and optimize the full SDLC from planning through production deployment and maintenance
- Establish and enforce comprehensive testing (JUnit, integration tests, load testing, automation)
- Oversee Dev/Stage/Production environment transitions to ensure platform stability
- Drive Agile leadership using ScrumBan: lead stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning and own sprint goals
- Allocate resources and distribute tasks to maximize productivity and meet deadlines
- Coordinate release cycles with Software Architects and Product Owners; produce Release Notes and ensure quality gates
- Prevent incidents by enforcing root-cause analysis and promotion through standard pipeline (no direct production hotfixes)
- Implement and monitor KPIs for team performance and software health; proactively identify bottlenecks
- Document SDLC steps and maintain Confluence up to date
- Provide technical supervision and hands-on engagement to solve complex blockers and give architectural guidance
- Act as liaison between technical team and senior management; translate technical requirements into business objectives
Hard skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in software development, with at least 3 years as Engineering Manager
- Strong mastery of Agile, Scrum and Kanban (ScrumBan)
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes; understanding of BPMN
- Experience in platform/product development, preferably in Identity or Cybersecurity
- Exceptional organizational skills with a quality-first and efficient-delivery mindset
- Ability to inspire and motivate a large, diverse team
- Fluency in English
- Certifications in Java, Kubernetes, Scrum are a plus
