Tasks

  • Establish a short- and long-term strategy for Germany/your territories adapting the Global strategy to our international consumer needs in accordance with the Licensing Director and COO
  • Execute Sanrio’s global and local strategies turning them into concrete business opportunities for Germany/and assigned territories
  • Identify and quantify the largest opportunities
  • Prioritize key markets
  • Continuously benchmark progress against plan
  • Manage the portfolio across Sanrio and Hello Kitty & Friends’ franchises in the relevant region building sustainable growth
  • Grow the Consumer Product business in line with Regional and Global strategies and guidelines while leveraging a strong knowledge of the local markets
  • Manage the agents allocated to Germany/the assigned countries or region maintaining and creating long term alliances
  • Provide forecasts and support Finance in collating Royalty reports
  • Work closely with the Marketing team providing all information for Marketing & Retail projects and strategy
  • Work closely with the Approval team in managing requests and providing necessary information

Hard skills

  • Five to eight years of experience working in Licensing corporations
  • Proven relationships network across categories and different businesses within the licensing industry
  • Team player with strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent command of the German and English language (written and spoken)
  • Financials driven attitude and budget management skills
  • Able to work independently and result oriented
  • Good working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications
