Tasks

  • Responsible for the overall architecture design and planning of the chassis by wire, and formulate technical routes and programs.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers and software engineers to design the electrical and electronic architecture, and develop control strategies and algorithms to realize the intelligent control of the chassis by wire system.
  • Conduct safety analysis based on chassis by wire functional architecture and definition, develop safety requirements at function level, and participate in the safety design of each function.
  • Be responsible for data collection and analysis during the testing process, timely detection and resolution of problems during testing, and optimization and improvement of the system.
  • Participate in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of chassis by wire system, establish the FMEA system, and formulate the corresponding fault response measures.
  • Participate in the discussions of chassis by wire regulations or technical standards in Europe and globally, translate the content into system or safety design requirements, and into the software and hardware design of EMB. Represent Li Auto in the regulatory or technical standard discussions to propose suggestions or comments.

Hard skills

  • 10+ years of experience in electric chassis system development, with mass production development experience and test verification experience in redundancy strategies and interaction design for EHB or EMB products.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a system leader or a key engineer in electronic chassis system development in Tier 1 supplier, working on redundant chassis systems to support L3+ automatic driving systems.
  • Proficient in the architecture of wire-control chassis system, including the principle, structure and function of wire-control steering, wire-control braking, wire-control driving and other sub-systems.
  • Familiar with the basic principles of automotive dynamics and kinematics, and able to apply relevant theories to model and analyze the drive-by-wire chassis system.
  • Understand automotive electronic and electrical architecture, master CAN, LIN, FlexRay and other automotive communication protocols, as well as the working principle and application of related sensors and actuators.
  • Solid electronic chassis system development skills, proficient in the use of simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim, etc.
  • Proficiency in using system requirement tools, such as IBM DNG.
  • Fluent in English (oral and writing) is mandatory.
