(Senior) Internal Auditor (m/f/d)

• Plan, prepare and conduct internal audits and consulting services within CARIAD Group focusing on technical topics along product development processes such as product quality and product compliance, as well as IT-related topics like cyber security and basic governance processes.
• Perform joint audits with different audit departments within Volkswagen Group.
• Identify risks, opportunities and improvement potential.
• Develop actions to improve the operation’s business processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present audit results to management.
• Support and track follow-up activities.

• Degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, economics, or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant professional experience within the automotive or digital sector, preferably in IT, software development, engineering functions, project management, quality management, auditing or GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) functions; minimum of 3 years.
• Experience as an internal auditor is strongly encouraged; professional certifications such as CIA, CFE, CISA are a plus.
• Good understanding of business processes and ability to abstract complex and multidimensional processes and challenges.
• Analytical and numerical mind.
• Structured and independent work.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to deal with conflicts.
• Fluent in English and German.
