Tasks

  • Defining project HSE management strategy and activities throughout the project lifecycle from proposal to execution.
  • Assisting company functions and project teams in addressing Health, Safety, and Environment issues with Clients.
  • Ensuring all HSE activities at the project level comply with applicable laws, client requirements, and company standards.
  • Coordinating with manufactory HSE teams to ensure compliance with company policy and project requirements.
  • Ensuring vessel operations comply with ISM Code rules, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
  • Assisting project teams in the Risk Management process (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP).
  • Facilitating accident/incident investigations and analyzing statistics to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Conducting internal and external HSE audits during prequalification and project phases.
  • Developing and performing project safety training programs to promote a safety culture.
  • Overseeing the development, planning, implementation, and auditing of the Company HSE Management System.
  • Leading the planning, collection, management, and analysis of HSE indicators.

Hard skills

  • Completed technical studies, ideally in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering.
  • Certified Occupational Safety Specialist with experience in implementing safety measures.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in occupational safety and health protection within an EPCI work environment.
  • Experience as an auditor for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Advanced English skills and German at native or C1 level.
  • Good MS Office skills, preferably with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, results-driven, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact.
