Tasks
- Defining project HSE management strategy and activities throughout the project lifecycle from proposal to execution.
- Assisting company functions and project teams in addressing Health, Safety, and Environment issues with Clients.
- Ensuring all HSE activities at the project level comply with applicable laws, client requirements, and company standards.
- Coordinating with manufactory HSE teams to ensure compliance with company policy and project requirements.
- Ensuring vessel operations comply with ISM Code rules, SOLAS, and MARPOL.
- Assisting project teams in the Risk Management process (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP).
- Facilitating accident/incident investigations and analyzing statistics to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Conducting internal and external HSE audits during prequalification and project phases.
- Developing and performing project safety training programs to promote a safety culture.
- Overseeing the development, planning, implementation, and auditing of the Company HSE Management System.
- Leading the planning, collection, management, and analysis of HSE indicators.
Hard skills
- Completed technical studies, ideally in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering.
- Certified Occupational Safety Specialist with experience in implementing safety measures.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in occupational safety and health protection within an EPCI work environment.
- Experience as an auditor for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Advanced English skills and German at native or C1 level.
- Good MS Office skills, preferably with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
- Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, results-driven, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact.
