Tasks

  • As a domain expert for mechanical engineering, you will be responsible for the initial and later structure of the project required design, concerning MD relevant topics in relation to product feasibility, requirements, standards and risk mitigation. You will be involved and responsible for:
  • Creating concepts according customer, legal and internal requirements or standards
  • Defining assembly set ups, interfaces and RASI
  • Starting FMEA, design reviews and risk assessments
  • Recommending technologies and manufacturing processes
  • Developing base technology
  • Initial work package and headcount planning

Hard skills

  • To succeed, you should be automonous with:
  • You have successfully completed a degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of study.
  • You have already gained many years of professional experience in the development of automotive products as well as the corresponding process knowledge (ISO/TS16949, APQP, Automotive SPICE, ISO26262).
  • You already have sound experience in managing complex projects, ideally in the automotive environment.
  • You have knowledge in the area of electric or hybrid drives.
  • You are fluent in English, ideally also fluent in German.
  • It is necessary to have experience and show evidence and capability concerning:
  • PDM and CAD
  • Leading project members
  • Good knowledge of inverter structure
  • Good knowledge of standard and request handling
  • Listed responsibilities in the description
