• The Global Insurance Management team is responsible for steering and implementing insurance strategy and all insurance related topics for Daimler Truck Group, as well as its customers. Furthermore, the team manages relationship, processes and reporting with all insurance cooperation partners and local markets. It is a unique team, which connects different aspects of Daimler Truck’s business.
• IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
• Be responsible for support in purchasing, coordination and review of Daimler Truck’s insurance standards
• Ensure good standards by defining processes, internal guidelines, manuals and reporting in order to have a standardized overview of corporate insurance on the global level
• Develop and implement selection process of insurance adviser, as well as support in negotiation of the service and remuneration
• Closely collaborate with all Daimler Truck locations globally, and on operational and strategic level ensure alignment between DTFS & DT AG business units and insurance brokers for worldwide insurance Programs
• THESE CHALLENGES AWAIT YOU:
• Work with the team to implement the global strategy for corporate insurance. That will include developing business models based on the company's risk appetite and appropriate for the markets with insurance broker and insurance partners. Additionally, organizing and performing a tender process, coordination in purchasing, negotiation and organization of a cooperation broker, as well as aligning between the broker and local markets
• Work together with the partners to handle the risk management of Daimler Truck Group. You will support in technical and operational risk management, including phases of risk identification, risk assessment, risk handling and risk control
• You will be main contact person between the HQ, local market companies and the brokers. In this role you will be responsible to analyze, identify and handle potential fields of action in corporate insurance programs. This includes consulting, advising and supporting in M&A processes, from an insurance perspective. Furthermore, in the event of a big claim, you will provide claim management support in close coordination with the broker and the local market contact person

• YOU WILL FIT IN PERFECTLY IF
• You have a master degree in Risk and Insurance Management, Finance or equivalent, or min. several years of experience in insurance business
• You show passion for everything connected to corporate insurance and automotive industry
• You have prior experience in project management activities, especially in placement or product management with an insurer or broker
• You have great organizational skills and a hands-on attitude in combination with strong communication and relationship building skills to engage with a range of stakeholders on all levels of organization
• You are motivated to utilize your profound analytical, conceptual and methodological competencies
• You have strong ability to work independently and you are responsible as well as self-driven
• You have both excellent English and German language skills, additional languages are an advantage
